The
BCGC 2013 Golfing Season opened this morning with a bang, 22 members and guests played in the 6-6-6. The tournament format was a 2 person team, with flights of member/guest and member/member. The first six holes were played as a
Scramble followed by 6 holes of
No Scotch and the last six holes were played as a
Best Ball.
Our golf course GM,
Dylan Flynn was out on the greens today measuring the speed of the greens, which measured 10.5, a reading of 1.0 faster than a normal and boy could you tell the difference. I think it took several holes to get use to the faster speed, as putts continued to end up past the hole. the golf course was in great condition, it was a sunny 60 plus day, with a slight wind out of the north.
