Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Club is a Men’s & Women’s Membership Golf Club. Our home golf course is Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course located adjacent to the Sacramento River along Highway 160. Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course was established in July of 1995. The course is owned by the City of Sacramento and is operated by Morton Golf. The links flavored golf course was designed by Golf Course Architect Perry Dye. The par 71 course measures 6158 yards, with a slope of 122 and is rated at 68.9 from the Gold Tees. BCGC WINS the FREEPORT CUP!!!

On June 13, 2009 the 8th Annual Freeport Cup was played at Bing Maloney Golf Course and BARTLEY CAVANAUGH GOLF CLUB WINS for the 3rd time in 8 years. We had a great day, the weather was perfect, the course was in great shape and the matches were fun. 16 player form each club: BCGC, BMGC, GFGC and LPGC participated in the event.

The match came down to the last group where BCGC ran away with the Cup with 44.5 points, followed by Land Park Golf Club with 40 points, then Grips Fast Golf Club with 39.5 and followed up by Bing Maloney Golf Club with 36 points.

Outstanding scoring by John Reithmeier win the 3rd Place Low Gross and the 2nd Place with the High of 38 Points. Don Sperling was right behind John in 3rd Place with 37 Points.
