Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Club is a Men’s & Women’s Membership Golf Club. Our home golf course is Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course located adjacent to the Sacramento River along Highway 160. Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course was established in July of 1995. The course is owned by the City of Sacramento and is operated by Morton Golf. The links flavored golf course was designed by Golf Course Architect Perry Dye. The par 71 course measures 6158 yards, with a slope of 122 and is rated at 68.9 from the Gold Tees. May 1, 2010 Weekend – Devil Ball

It was a calm and beautiful on morning of May 1, 2010.

Two teams played in the one of the most difficult tournaments all year – The DEVIL BALL. This is by far is one of the pressure packed and funniest too. The pressure of not losing the Devil Ball sometimes seems over whelming. Just ask Bob Benefiel, a 6 Handicapper, past Match Play Champion who on Hole 13 shanked his second devil ball shot right into the lake. In fact, neither team was able to return back to the club house with the Devil Balls.

Devil Ball Results:
Zero, neither team finished with the Devil Ball.

3 – Person Scramble Tournament: Both teams played extremely well shooting well below par scores, in fact only one point separated the outcome.

2nd Place: Ryan Maclennan (23), Noelle Maclennan (38), Tim Gudmann (13) Score: 56 (-15)
