Thanks to all 26 members and one
guest who participated in the Midweek Group's March Tournament. The weather was
fantastic and the course was in great shape although the greens were not as
fast and smooth as in February. The format was Bingo-Bango-Bongo and I heard
some kudos and some complaints so if any of you would like to be heard in this
regard, let me know your thoughts and I will consider them all when planning
next years' games. For the most part, there were no big winners.
In the Closest to the Pin
competition, the results were as follows:

In the optional net skins game,
there were 15 participants scoring 6 skins. Don Sperling won two skins scoring
a net zero at #8 and net 2 at #10. Bob Thomas, scored a 2 at #9, Myron Dahl a
net 1 at #12 and Dave Travis and Richard Coakley shot 2's at #13 and #14
respectively.
Men's and women's Player of the Year
Points will be awarded based on adjusted net scores. I will include a POY
standings sheet with next month's recap letter as we will by then by a quarter
of the way through the year. Our next tournament will be the 2nd Wednesday, the
13th of April starting at 9AM. I hope to see you all there. Thanks again for
