April 10, 2013 – Midweek Group - Net Stoke Play

Thanks to all 29 of you who came out on such a beautiful day for some golf! The skies were clear, the winds were calm and the thermometer rose from 62* to 82* while we were out there. The greens had been aerated and sanded 10 days previously and some were not yet back to prime condition, but yet not too bad either. Should be perfect for our next tournament on May 15th.

The format was straight net stroke play. Prize winners were as follows:

In the optional net skins game, there were 12 players in the pool scoring 9 skins as follows:

Tom Bell, #1 and #16; Bob Thomas, #2 and #18; Roy Fukushima, #6 and #10; Ron McKenna, #9 and #12, Jean Chong, #13.

Once again, our next tournament will be at 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 15th. The format will be the same at net stroke play, plus the optional net skins game and closest to pin by flight. Hope to see you there.
