2012 Match Play Championship

Here it is!

The long-awaited pairings for the 2012 Bartley Cavanaugh Match Play Championship! The attached bracket (no, NOT the March-Madness Bracket!) reflects the pairings and time-table for completing the matches.

Competitors will have the flexibility of scheduling their respective matches at the most convenient time as long as the match is completed by the noted deadline. I ask that the winner of each match contact me as soon as their match is completed in order for me to update the bracket timely and notify each competitor of who they will face in their next match.


Upon further review (no, this isn't a football replay) I have decided to extend the Match Play Schedule for the following reasons. The weather for the remainder of this week is forecast to be a bit unsettled. The weekend-after-next is Easter Weekend. The following Monday, April 9, is the scheduled day for greens aerification. Given that it will take a couple of weeks for the greens at Bartley Cavanaugh to recover, I have extended the completion date of the first round of match play to May 13th.

Subsequent completion dates for each round thereafter have been extended as well, and an updated Match Play Bracket has been attached for your information. In addition, to facilitate communication between players for scheduling matches, I have included everyone's email contact information as follows:
