Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Club is a Men’s & Women’s Membership Golf Club. Our home golf course is Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course located adjacent to the Sacramento River along Highway 160. Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course was established in July of 1995. The course is owned by the City of Sacramento and is operated by Morton Golf. The links flavored golf course was designed by Golf Course Architect Perry Dye. The par 71 course measures 6158 yards, with a slope of 122 and is rated at 68.9 from the Gold Tees. March 21, 2012 - Midweek Group - Bingo-Bango-Bongo

Wednesday proved to be a great day for golf at Bartley Cavanaugh. Temperatures warmed to 68 deg. by the end of play and the wind was just a gentle breeze at most. The midweek group played a game of Bingo-Bango-Bongo with individuals in each of the 5 threesomes playing for their share of that threesome's prize pool.

Don Sperling and Haruo Makimoto each accounted for 24 points to lead the men and Barbara Conerly led the women with 21 points. Barbara also shot a 95, net 70 to lead the women in scoring, while Dick Carlsen's 85 gross and Will Hart's net 65 led the men in scoring. Net scores will be used for P.O.Y. points.

After some rain leading up to the match, the course was dry and well maintained. Also in evidence were some new rakes in the bunkers and new ball washers too.
